Guide Review
Sonya Isaacs - Sonya Isaacs
The first time I heard Sonya Isaacs' voice I was literally amazed. It is one that is beautiful, sweet, and definitely easy on the ears. There is not one song that I do not enjoy or feel emotionally and everyone that enjoys her music feels the same way.

Her first single, "Barefoot In The Grass," only made it two number sixty-four on Billboard, while "On My Way To You" made it to fifty-six. Sonya filmed a video for "How Can I Forget," but even after airplay on CMT the single did not even chart. At the end of her album, there is a beautiful version of "The Battlefield," that could move a person to tears, and I am sure that had she released "On My Way To You," Lonestar would have had a battle of their own in the ballad area of country.

Sonya Isaacs is a mystery to me, in a way, because whenever I hear her album I wonder how radio let her slip through the cracks. If radio would give her a chance, I know that she would gain more attention. She has more talent than many already on the radio, so give her a listen and I am sure you will feel the same way I do.
