Shania Twain - Come On Over
Following the massive success of her last CD, The Woman In Me, many people were saying that there was no way to top the sales of that CD. Well, not only did Come On Over surpass The Woman In Me, it has garnered the distinction of being the best selling country music CD by a female, EVER. Not to be out done, Shania and her husband producer, R.J. "Mutt" Lange wrote both CD's by themselves.
An amazing fact about this CD is that it produced 9 singles to radio. It is a virtual Greatest Hits CD. The nine singles are: "Love Gets Me Every Time," "Man! I Feel Like A Woman," "Come On Over," "From This Moment On," "Rock This Country!," You're Still The One," That Don't Impress Me Much," "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)," "Honey I'm Home," and "You've Goy A Way." You'd be hard pressed to find a conventional CD with that many hits on it, especially a country CD.
You'd be hard pressed to find a conventional CD with that many hits on it, especially a country CD. While other artists are content to release three or four CD's of mediocre quality over the same span of four years, Come On Over was such a strong album that Shania could release the nine singles.
