Guide Review
Eric Heatherly - Swimming in Champagne
Eric Heatherly stormed onto the country music scene with his hit cover of The Statler Brothers hit "Flowers On The Wall." After a moderate hit with his second single, "Wrong 5 O'clock," this promising new artist seemed to fall off the face of the earth.

Radio totally ignored the silky smooth ballad, "Swimming In Champagne." It seems that if not for the great cover single, Eric Heatherly wasn't really an artist that radio wanted to hear. Mercury Nashville obviously felt the same way because rather than release another single, like the rockin' "Didn't Mean A Thing," or the ballad "One Night," the label let Eric go.

Now signed to DreamWorks Nashville, Eric seems to be back on track. If you want to hear a CD that radio decided was not for them, then pick up this fine release by Eric Heatherly. Then you will see why most of the country music industry and fellow artists like what still like what Eric is doing.
