Montgomery Gentry - Tattoos and Scars
The racous guys from Montgomery Gentry were just starting out with their debut album, Tattoos and Scars and who ever would have guessed that they would be touring with Brooks & Dunn only a few years later?
This album contains such popular songs as first single, "Hillbilly Shoes," "Lonely and Gone" (which made its way to #5 on the Billboard Charts), and "Daddy Won't Sell The Farm," a tale about the plight of farmers everywhere whose land is being bought to build modern day buildings with a "nonsensical" purpose.
Other singles include "Self Made Man" and "All Night Long" (whose accompanying video featured Charlie Daniels). In my opinion, the whole premise of the Tattoos and Scars album was to show us that Montgomery Gentry knows how to have fun and party, and let us know that they really do care about the hard working people of this country and the ones that fought to protect us - and they want everyone to recognize those people too.
