Tim McGraw - Greatest Hits
When I heard that Curb Records was going to release a Greatest Hits CD, I wondered what took them so long. Tim has had a steady string of hit singles since 1994's "Indian Outlaw." What really shocked me was the label's decision not to include any new tracks. Curb decided to release this CD around the holidays in 2000 and held back Tim's current CD "Set This Circus Down" for a spring release. Their plan worked as this CD instantly became one of the top CDs of 2001. In fact, Tim had both his CDs from 2000-2001 in the top five CDs of 2001 in Billboard Magazine.
The "single" from this CD is "My Next Thirty Years" which really is the final single from Tim's "A Place In The Sun" CD. On this compilation, there are three songs each from Tim's "Not A Moment Too Soon" and "All I Want" CDs with almost all the singles from the "Everywhere" and "A Place In The Sun." The final track on this CD is Tim's duet with his wife, Faith Hill. The duet is "Let's Make Love" and it is from her "Breathe" CD.
With fifteen (15) of the late 1990s greatest country hits, Tim McGraw's Greatest Hits CD is a great way to introduce fans to Tim McGraw while skipping the "filler" tracks of his four previous CDs.
