Toby Keith - Greatest Hits: Volume One
I remember watching a new video come on with a pseudo rap on it. No it wasn't "I Wanna Talk About Me," it was "Getcha Some." While not a huge radio hit, "Getcha Some" was enough to make this CD quickly sell over 500,000 copies in a couple of months. Containing nearly every hit song from Toby's Mercury Nashville days, this CD is great showcase into the talent of a great singer/songwriter.
Toby wrote or co-wrote 11 of the 14 tracks on the CD. The only songs Toby didn't write were his duet with Sting "I'm So Happy That I Can't Stop Crying," "We Were In Love," and "A Little Less Talk, A Lot More Action." Every track on here was also a Top Ten hit. In fact, Toby's first single ever, "Should've Been A Cowboy," was also his first Billboard Number One hit single.
With 12 top ten singles and two new tracks, this CD is one that is good to own. Those who don't like to buy CDs for one song will find not one bad track on this CD.
