Trisha Yearwood - Inside Out
On this new album Trisha performs songs that show off the voice that won her both ACM and CMA Female Vocalist honors. She also has some help from Don Henley on the title track, and Rosanne Cash on the classic hit that Roseanne wrote and performed in the early 80s, Seven Year Ache."
The title track is a duet with Don Henley, and it's a great collaboration. If you remember their last joint venture, it was "Walkaway Joe" from Trisha's Hearts in Armor album. They sounded great together then, and still do. Also included are the Top 5 single, "I Would Have Loved You Anyway," a mournful Harlan Howard-penned tune, "Melancholy Blue," and "When We Were Still In Love," which is a gorgeous ballad about the faith you have that things will all turn out alright when you're in love.
Trisha bares her soul in songs that she sings as though she's lived them. And perhaps she has. This album is a showcase for her lovely voice, with soulful, rich songs, full of heart.
