Yankee Grey - Untamed
Yankee Grey was one of those groups that entered with a bang, but unfortuately the group could not stay together long enough to have been around for at least a year. The lead singer left and listed vocal problems as the source, but one might think otherwise with the chatterings that went on around the Internet.
The group's first high-octane and energetic single was "All Things Considered," a song that made it all the way to the top ten on the Billboard Charts. Their second, "Another Nine Minutes," did well on the radio and television with its subject matter being of love and wanting to stay with his girl for as long as possible. "This Time Around" was released shortly before the lead singer left and so this slow tune was the last single from the original incarnation of the band.
It is a shame that the original group is no more, yet with the replacement of the lead singer I know that I must not be the only one anxiously awaiting a new single and album because not too many people can ever get over the energetic and enjoyable songs whether they be released by newer artists or established ones.
