Patty Loveless - When Fallen Angels Fly
While Patty Loveless had many big hits prior to the release of When Fallen Angels Fly, she had an incredibly successful string of hit singles off of this album. Spawning no less than four Billboard Top 10 hits, the CD was also named CMA Album of the Year.
Of the four singles, two of them were No. 1 hits, "Halfway Down" and "I Try To Think About Elvis." The other two top singles were "Here I Am" and "You Don't Even Know Who I Am." Every other track, along with the singles, are solid meat and potatoes country songs. My personal favorite track on the CD is "Over My Shoulder," which was written by Marcus Hummon.
