Guide Review
Dixie Chicks - Wide Open Spaces
When the trio came out, everyone was wondering what to think of Natalie, Martie, and Emily. Luckily for all of us, we accepted them with open arms and they immediately earned the respect and loyal fan base that they have today.

"I Can Love You Better" was the spunky song that introduced us to the Chicks, while "There's Your Trouble" showed us even more of the talented ladies as it went to number one for two weeks. The title cut, "Wide Open Spaces" was very successful as well and remains a fan favorite (song and video) today. "You Were Mine" went to number one on Billboard as well, for two weeks.

This is a group that I just fell in love with when I heard their music for the first time. Their energy and fun caught the attention of many other fans and that is why the Dixie Chicks will always be popular - they play what they want, when they want, all the while keeping it exciting. That fact is evident in Wide Open Spaces, as it will be in other releases of theirs.
