Lonestar is one of my favorite groups, and when I heard they were going to be at the Las Vegas Hilton, my favorite venue on Valentine's day, I thought that sounded like a cool concert to see. They also played on the 15th, but I just caught the first show.

I saw Lonestar most recently last October, and actually, the show hadn't changed all that much, but it's always great to see the guys.

I'm gonna change my format of reviewing. Instead of talking about each song, I'm going to tell you about the things the guys talked about, and then give a full set list below.

Richie started out asking if anyone was doing any gambling, revealing that he was saving his gambling for the following night . Dean quipped that he was all ready to bet Richie's farm, and Richie said, "Hey, what about my wife and kids? You can't do that." They asked Mike if he was going to gamble, and he said he didn't think so, cuz he had bad luck. Keech said he was planning on gambling $5.00. Richie then told a story about Keech and the Coke machine. He said Keech kept feeding it quarters and watching the sodas come out. Like he thought it was a slot machine. Keech said "It's a blond thing."

Later, before singing "Not a Day Goes By," Richie dedicated the song to a fan who goes to a lot of the shows named Anita. He said she recenntly lost her mother.

After singing "Unusually Unusual," Richie came into the audience to talk to a lady there. He went up the aisle and asked where people were from and their names, and found an empty seat next to a lady named "Sherry." She had Dean come and take her picture with Richie, and behind her a girl put rabbit ears up behind Richie's head. :D What was even funnier was when her boyfriend/husband came back and found Richie in his seat. Then, Dean started teasing Richie, saying, "You're in for it now." So, Richie left and let the guy have his seat. The next song was "I'm Already There," which Richie dedicated to all the men and women in the military.

They also played a song that will be on their new Greatest Hits album, coming out soon, which is their new single, "On My Front Porch Looking In." The song was real catchy. I like it and look forward to hearing it more. It must be real new, cuz Richie seemed to forget the words in parts of the song.

They mentioned it being Valentine's Day and asked if anyone got married that day. There was a girl in the first row wearing a veil, and her friend said "they got married." The girl got on stage and all four bandmembers stood with her while her husband tried to take a picture. Richie was kidding, saying maybe someone else should take the picture. He doesn't seem to know how to work the camera. Would hate to see them get a divorce. I guess they finally got the picture though, cuz she did go back to her seat.

That was about all the talking they did. Or, at least all I remembered to write down. :) Below you'll find the full set list for the show.
