Elizabeth talks about five different concerts that she went to from 1996 - 1998, describing how not every one is the same and how the crowd's participation really changes things. Here are a few excerpts: 'We quickly made it to the center of the stage in front of the people in the front row and could smell the leather of his ropers. Well, we got to him but he didn't take the flowers, and after a while a very nice security man came and told us to leave the flowers on the edge of the stage and Garth would pick them up. I thought to myself "yeah when pigs fly." "He's not going to find us it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack." After Garth finished the song he came over to our side of the stage to pick up the flowers and gifts that had been left there. He picked up our roses which were white and wrapped in green tissue paper, and started looking around. He quickly found me in the crowd and with those incredible blue eyes, locked onto mine and with his force of will held me and proceeded to look into my soul.' And at a later concert: 'Garth was teasing Jimmy about being more popular than he was. "Yeah," he said, "I've even seen a sign with your website on it." Suddenly, the sign and all of us behind it were lit up with the light from four spotlights. We screamed. I pointed at him and gave the sign for "I love you," while Deb and Jeff waved to Garth, and Barb was taking a picture of Garth and Jimmy. (Thankfully, Bonnie had the presence of mind to take a picture of this for while I will be eternally grateful.) Just as quickly as we were lit up, the lights were redirected center stage to Jimmy and Garth, where Garth proceeded to continue his assault on the poor man. (Unfortunately, our www.tightpants.com sign lived a very short life. Upon arriving home, we found out that it was a pornographic web site. End of sign. Oh well.)' Besides all the stories about her Garth experiences, Elizabeth shares nine pages of color photos taken at the concerts that she attended. A worthy addition to any Garth fan's library and a look at why this man was such a popular entertainer for those who have never seen him in concert.
