I had never seen either Yankee Grey or Brad Paisley perform, other than on TV and videos. I gotta say, I figured Yankee Grey would be pretty wild, and they did not disappoint. They were totally wild and having a blast playing for us that night. They ended up playing all the songs from their album, and they were all really good. I'm definitely going to be buying it soon. They play a mixture of upbeat stuff as well as some really pretty ballads.

The show started about an hour and a half late due to their being a wedding reception held at the venue earlier in the day. It pushed everything off, but when Yankee Grey hit the stage, you forgot all about the long wait. They are really a lot of fun to watch.

The Splitfire has a dance floor, and people were standing up watching the show near the front and other couples were dancing in the rear. Everyone had a great time, and it was totally packed.

Lead singer Tim Hunt really enjoyed hearing the audience scream, and when we'd be quiet, he'd yell out "Scream!" and everyone would yell real loud, and he'd be taking it all in and totally loving it.

I gotta say that if you love to party, and you love your country mixed with some rock, you would totally love seeing and hearing Yankee Grey perform. They give 110% and then some to give everyone a great time. You can tell they love doing what they're doing, and they're having a blast.
