Now you, the fans of Country Music can nominate and vote for the stars *YOU* want to win. This is the first round of voting for the About Country Millenium Awards.
From November 1st - November 14th you can vote for your favorite stars in each category. In the nomination portion of the awards, you can vote more than one time. When time comes to vote for the winners, you will only be allowed one vote.
I will tally up the votes and the top five vote-getters in each category will make it to the final voting which will start on November 29th.
Here are a list of the categories, and a summary of what qualities a star needs to have to qualify for nomination. Note that I will not be checking for exact years of popularity but will go with the approximate years for determining if an artist qualifies for the category he/she/they are nominated.
Male Vocalist
Male artist popular from 1980 on. More than two albums released.
Female Vocalist
Female artist popular from 1980 on. More than two albums released.
New Male Vocalist
Male artist with no more than two albums released.
New Female Vocalist
Female artist with no more than two albums released.
Group
Must have at least three members. More than two albums released.
New Group
Must have at least three members with no more than two albums released.
Duo
Two artists that regularly perform together. (No rule on how many albums released, as there aren't a lot of duos out there that aren't new.)
New Duo
Two artists that regularly perform together, and have no more
than two albums released.
Female Legend
Female artist popular prior to 1980.
Male Legend
Male artist popular prior to 1980.
All-Time Favorite Song
Song from any era, new or old.

Humanitarian
Artist/Group that does much to benefit charity work.
Entertainer
Artist/Group/Duo that does more than just sing. Could be an artist/group/duo that gives fantastic concerts, or perhaps is an actress or actor.
Vocal Collaboration
Two or more artists that do not normally record together that performed a specific song.
