Top Picks - Big Men of Country Tour

Trace Adkins and Darryl Worley are touring together for the Fall of 2002 on the "Big Men Of Country: Size Matters" Tour. Between them, Trace and Darryl have had a dozen Top 20 hits, and each has had a No. 1. Darryl with "I Miss My Friend," and Trace with "(This Ain't No) Thinkin' Thing." |

1) Dreamin' Out Loud - Trace Adkins
Trace proves on his debut album that he can sing both ballads as well as honky tonk tunes. Contains the hits "I Left Something Turned On At Home," "There's A Girl In Texas," "Every Light In The House," and "(This Ain't No) Thinkin' Thing."

3) More - Trace Adkins
Trace's third album is a fine collection of pure country songs, sung with real emotion. Included are the heart-tugging "Don't Lie," "I'm Gonna Love You Anyway," and the title cut.

4) Chrome - Trace Adkins
Trace can certainly hold his own among the gentlemen of Country Music. All of the tracks on the album were solid and easy to listen to. The songs are a mixture of traditional and contemporary stylings with singles "I'm Tryin'," and "Help Me Understand" among them.

5) Hard Rain Don't Last - Darryl Worley
When I first heard Darryl Worley's first single, "When You Need My Love," I thought he sounded like Garth Brooks. Not every line, but certain words and his phrasing. Now that I've listened to his whole album over and over again, I have to say that the Garth-sound doesn't seem as noticeable. Sometimes I think he sounds like Merle Haggard, which isn't surprising at all, since Merle is one of Darryl's musical influences. But overall, I think Darryl's sound is just that.. HIS sound. And I love it!

6) I Miss My Friend - Darryl Worley
While this album is traditional to the core, I still think the songs are ones that will play on the radio. There's a little something for everyone... some tear-jerkers, some fast and rowdy songs, and some songs with a message.
