Guide Picks - Top 3 Joe Diffie
Joe was raised in a musical home where extended-family jam sessions were a normal event. He made his public debut at age four, singing "You Are My Sunshine." He was part of a garage band in high school playing rock 'n roll, then he moved into a gospel quartet and bluegrass band in his early 20s. He moved to Nashville and got a job at Gibson Guitars to pay the bills while shopping his songs to anyone who would listen. At the end of the 80s Joe had his record deal and his first single, "Home" was also his first No. 1 record. He's followed that with 13 Top Ten charts, five of which went all the way to No. 1.
1.) Greatest Hits - Joe Diffie
Some of the better tracks include the sweet "So Help Me Girl," the fun "Pickup Man," Bigger Than The Beatles," the outlandish "Third Rock From The Sun" and the biographical "Home." With these songs and the other hits, this CD is a great introduction into the wonderful songs by Joe Diffie.

2.) In Another World - Joe Diffie
Usually when a person releases any album that is higher than his fifth, the new and fresh ideas seem to dwindle, but that is not the case with "In Another World." Old and new fans alike should pick this one up and enjoy the "Honky-Tonk Attitude" and sentimental emotion found throughout.

3.) Honky Tonk Attitude - Joe Diffie
Joe Diffie is arguably one of the finest voices to have come out of the surge of neotraditionalist vocalists in the early 90's. In 1990, Joe brought us his debut, "Home," and his work simply improved from there. Joe is a real country artist and should still be getting as much air play as he did when this disc came out. If you love real country music and the neotraditionalist sound, then pick up this album and get set for some true honky-tonkin' fun.
