BR549 is a band that is tottering on the edge of a music revolution that is occuring in country music. In a time of country music pop star wanna-be singers and cute boy bands, they are neither. They are a bunch of guys playing the traditional honky tonk style country music that they love.

2.) Here Come The Derailers - The Derailers
The energetic group known as the Derailers have released their debut album with Lucky Dog Records. It is titled "Here Come The Derailers." After listening to their album, it seems appropriate. They are bringing a fresh sound into country music and livening things up just a little. They rely heavily on the sound that I associate with Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakum - the Telecaster.

3.) Pearl Snaps - Deryl Dodd Deryl has a wonderful album on his hands with "Pearl Snaps." He writes his songs, he sings he songs, he feels his songs like nobody else ever could and yet, sadly, we have to wait and see if radio stations will play his musical works of Country Music art.

4.) Electric - Jack Ingram When I listen to an album, I like diversity and this album definitely has it. You can hear the many facets of Jack Ingram throughout, and that is what I enjoy most from him. His ability to write and sing some of the greatest songs is absolutely unbelievable and he always has fresh material that the listeners will, no doubt, love.

Step Right Up - Charlie Robison Words cannot express how talented Charlie Robison is because, not only can he write, he has such a unique flair to him that allows him to be humorous one minute and completely serious the next. Working long and hard has always been his way of living and those traits have prepared him for the road that has brought him to where he is today.
