These gals have been around for less than three years, and none of them have more than two albums released to the public.

1) Shiver - Jamie O'Neal
Shiver is Jamie O'Neal's debut album. It may be our first listen to her as an artist, but it's not the first as a songwriter. O'Neal has written songs that were recorded by LeAnn Rimes, Chely Wright, and Tammy Cochran. She's also recorded background vocals on records by Mindy McCready, Clay Davidson, Jason Sellers, Chely Wright, Ronnie Milsap, Sonya Issacs and others.

2) Who I Am - Jessica Andrews
Who I Am is Jessica Andrews' sophomore release on DreamWorks Records, and even though the type of music is the same as on her debut album, this album deals with more mature topics. There are some fun songs also, but you can hear (as compared to her first album), that Jessica has grown up since Heart Shaped World was released. Her voice hits different notes that she never attempted on the first album, and all of the songs are wonderful.

3) Room With a View - Carolyn Dawn Johnson
Unless you are one of those people who reads every line of every CD insert, you are probably like me and had never heard of Carolyn Dawn Johnson until just last year. Having penned songs with or for artists like Chely Wright, Trace Adkins and SheDaisy, I can't believe she's relatively unknown to the average country fan. All of that, however, is bound to change with the release of her first album "Room With A View."

4) Tammy Cochran - Tammy Cochran
With a powerful voice and touching singles, Tammy Cochran releases her self-titled debut album. Included here is the touching song written for her brothers that both lost the fight to Cystic Fibrosis, "Angels in Waiting."

5) My World - Cyndi Thomson
This being Cyndi Thomson's debut album, there is absolutely no telling what kind of emotions she was feeling when My World was released. Much to everyone's surprise, she became quite the overnight Country Superstar success story that could not only sing like a beautiful bird, but could write songs as well.
