BROOKS & DUNN (Nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year.)

The chemistry that Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks share on and off the stage is undeniable. Their union has resulted in 23 No.1 singles and more than 28 million albums sold, with signature hits "My Maria," "Red Dirt Road," "Only In America" and more. The duo, who once graced the cover of a Corn Flakes box, has sold more albums than any other Country duo. Brooks & Dunn's career began with a debut album garnering four straight No. 1 hits - "Brand New Man," "Neon Moon," "Boot Scootin' Boogie" and "My Next Broken Heart." They've released 10 studio albums and two greatest hits CDs. Brooks & Dunn's latest Arista Nashville album, Hillbilly Deluxe featuring the first single "Play Something Country," takes them back to their roots, blending Dunn's Oklahoma honky-tonk and Brooks' high-energy Louisiana swamp rock. Brooks & Dunn have won 14 CMA Awards, including Entertainer and an unprecedented 12 Vocal Duo of the Year trophies. For a second year in 2005, they are hosting the CMA Awards.
