Big & Rich started their set out with the song they sing in that commercial. At least I think it's that song. It's not one from their debut album, Horse of a Different Color..

Next, another song I didn't recognize, I think it was called "Blow My Mind." And the third song was their current single, which I love, "Big Time."

The highlight of the night had to be "Save a Horse, (Ride a Cowboy)," as the crowd was really into the song, and singing along and pretty much everyone was standing up and really having a great time with it. This is truly an audience participation song. During the song they introduce Two-Foot Fred, the little person who dances along on the stage as they perform with two canes and an orange feathery hat, and Rachel Kice, who is a painter. She paints abstracts as the musicians sing. Kenny said the painting she would complete by the night's end would then be auctioned off for charity.

Next to be introduced was the "six-foot-five inch black rappin' cowboy," Cowboy Troy, who came on stage to sing his single, "I Play Chicken With The Train." It's all great fun, even though I'm not big on rap music, I enjoy some of the stuff that Troy sings, and this song has an infectous chorus.

After this, the final song was "Rollin'" which was the song the guys sang last year on the ACM show. It also features Troy in parts, and it leaves everyone wanting more, but unfortunately, the night has come to a close, and so after waiting for the room to clear a bit, I make my way back outside, passing the beautiful "ACM 40th Anniversary Ice Sculpture," which is melting by now. I wish I would have taken a picture on the way in, but I was more concerned with getting a good seat.

The New Faces show has been a lot of fun, both of the years that I have attended, and I will be back again next year. Those that purchase tickets to the ACM Awards get a ticket to the "New Faces" show the previous night, so while the tickets to the ACMs may be high, you do get this show as well, and it's worth the price of the ticket for me.
