Time for another CMT Poll. They show Vocal Duo of the Year poll. Brooks & Dunn is ahead with 28% of the vote, but Montgomery Gentry has 26%, and Big & Rich have 25%, so it's not a runaway win here.

Lance is now talking to Sugarland. Jennifer is in the center wearing a beautiful white silk gown, and Kristen and Kristian surround her wearing black. They talk about doing the CMT Crossroads show with Bon Jovi. Jennifer says that they are on a track with Bon Jovi, on their (Bon Jovi's) recent album, but they didn't actually meet the guys until the CMT Crossroads taping. They say they will sing "Something More" tonight.

Some more rehearsal footage is shown, with Keith Urban singing "Better Life," which has topped the charts six weeks in a row.

Back to the show we see Lance with Brad Paisley. He's proud to have six nominations, and says "Alcohol" has been a big part of that. Lance asks Brad which award he would like to win of the six nominations. He says, he's not sure, but he hopes he wins one, cuz it would be really bad to go out with six losses.

Katie talks to Dierks Bentley. She sprays some breath spray, then offers Dierks some too, who takes it. She talks about his gorgeous black silk jacket. He says, last time they talked, he was wearing a backwards baseball cap. He talks about being nominated for the Horizon Award. He's looking forward to performing, and isn't worried about winning the award. If he wins, fine, if not, fine. Katie tells him his song "Come A Little Closer" is part of the upcoming special, CMT Top 20 Sexiest Videos. She asks Dierks if it was easy to do the video, and he says it was tough for him. The girl had no problem, as she has done lots of videos.

Lance talks to Jason Aldean. He says that he's there with his wife, and they visited the top of the Empire State Building. Lance asked him how he feels about his self-titled album going Gold. Jason says he's really amazed that it has gone gold with just one single. They just released the new single, "Why."

After showing the fans, Lance is talking to LeAnn Rimes, who talks about being in New York for the past week, and has been doing "Regis & Kelly," and "Tony Danza." She's wearing a designer dress from Marc Jacobs, Spring 2006, off-the-runway dress. She says she feels at home in New York, as she got to know lots of people that lived there when she was first singing and traveling. She said that she's releasing a new single, called "Something's Gotta Give." They'll be shooting the video soon for the song. Lance tells her to stop by the studio when it comes out, and she says she will do that.

Looking at another CMT Poll, this time for Entertainer of the Year. Keith Urban is in the lead with 39% of the vote.

Katie is talking to Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is dressed in a fancy decorated duster that says Broadway on the front in gold letters, and has a flag on the back, with the Statue of Liberty. Lots of rhinestones. It's gorgeous! He's also wearing orange Jim Beam boots. They talk about being up for the Duo of the Year Award. They say whether or not they win, they'll be celebrating after the show. Their latest video "She Don't Ask Me To" was filmed in Iceland.

Back from the commercial Katie is talking to Alison Krauss + Union Station. They talk about Alison's two award nominations. They'll be singing "My Poor Old Heart."

Some more rehearsal shots of Miranda Lambert and Sugarland.

Lance talks to Shania Twain. She's got a gorgeous gold gown by Mark Bauer. Lance asks her what she carries around in her small sparkly purse. She says "lip liner.. umm." Not too much. She'll be presenting Entertainer of the Year with Billy Joel. She says she was just on Martha Stewart's show, and they went horseback riding together.

Another look at the CMT Poll for Horizon Award, Sugarland is ahead with 46% of the vote.

Katie talks to Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi. She asks him if it's his first CMAs. He says it was. They talk about the CMT Crossroads show, which he says was so much fun. They say Jennifer Nettles will be performing with them tonight, called Who Says You Can't Go Home," which is off their Have a Nice Day.

Lance talks to Julie Roberts. She'll be singing a new song that she wrote, called "First To Never Know." The song is off the new album, which will be out early next year. She got to see the Johnny Cash movie, I Walk the Line, and recommends that to everyone.

Katie talks to Ryan Shupe & the Rubber Band. They each take the mic and introduce themselves, and talk about playing on Good Morning America, and just before coming on the Red Carpet, they say that they were out playing for the fans in the rain. They say their song "Dream Big" is the theme song for Amy Grant's Three Wishes show. They also performed on the show.
