SUGARLAND (Nominated for Horizon Award, Vocal Group and Single of the Year.)

The members of Sugarland - Kristian Bush, Kristen Hall and Jennifer Nettles - sharpened their voices in the Atlanta music scene as solo artists before joining forces. An accomplished instrumentalist and local folk/rock hero as one-half of Billy Pilgrim, Bush was eager to leave his computer-programming job and make music his full-time career. Hall was a folk singer-songwriter who had released two well received solo albums, but she really wanted to put together a Country band. Powerhouse vocalist Nettles is a native of Georgia who had a huge following in Atlanta. After a few months of writing and performing together, Sugarland signed with Mercury Records and released their Platinum-selling debut, Twice The Speed Of Life. Their first two singles, "Baby Girl" and "Something More" both reached No. 2 on the charts and the trio's new single is "Just Might (Make Me Believe)."
