The ACM Awards unlike the Grammy Awards, People's Choice Awards, or American Music Awards are strictly for Country Music. The show airs on Live on CBS from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV on May 23, 2006 at 8:00 pm ET. (tape delayed in PT)
Performers announced so far will be Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Kelly Clarkson, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Big & Rich, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Sara Evans, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, Brad Paisley, and Sugarland.
