When is the show on?
Plop yourself down in front of your TV on Tuesday, November 15th. Tune in to CBS starting at 8pm. The show will run through 11:00 pm. Scheduled performers include Kenny Chesney performing "Living in Fast Forward," Garth Brooks performing "Good Ride, Cowboy," a tribute to the late Chris LeDoux, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood will perform her hit single, "Jesus, Take The Wheel," Dierks Bentley, Big & Rich, Brooks & Dunn, who are also hosting the show, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss + Union Station Featuring Jerry Douglas, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Julie Roberts, George Strait, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, and Lee Ann Womack. Plus non-country artists Sir Elton John, performing with Dolly Parton for the first time ever, performing the John Lennon-penned "Imagine." Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles renews her aquaintance with Bon Jovi, with whom the group performed with on a recent CMT Crossroads episode. Paul Simon will join Willie Nelson in song, and together they'll present the Song of the Year Award. Billy Joel will also be on hand to present an award. And, with the opening of the new Johnny Cash movie, I Walk The Line, the lead actors, Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon will also be on the CMA Awards show. Vince Gill will introduce the induction of the three new Country Music Hall of Fame members; Alabama, Glen Campbell, and DeFord Bailey. It's sure to be a fantastic show!
