Little Bit of Everything Bottom Line:
Billy Currington has become one of the most impressive, young country music singers to come along in years. He has struggled through countless ups and downs in order to achieve his goals as not just a singer, but also a songwriter. From the second his self-titled, debut album was released, fans have been rooting him on. Now he is releasing his third album Little Bit Of Everything through Mercury Records, and this is going to blow everyone's mind. There is a song on here for everyone and the stories are endless.About Billy Currington:
When Billy Currington was growing up, he probably never had a clue that he was destined to accomplish so many great things in his life. Growing up in Georgia, he faced some difficult times at home, but these things just fueled the fire for him to want to move on to bigger and better things. Before ever graduating from high school, Billy auditioned for a job at Opryland, but was denied the position. After graduating from high school, he went ahead and made the move to Music City, but he quickly moved back to Georgia when things didn't work out.
Once Billy was back home, he started singing at a local bar, but the burning desire to pursue the big time never eased. He eventually made his way back to Nashville and worked in masonry and as a personal trainer. One of his clients helped him get into recording demos, as well as writing songs. This ultimately helped him get signed to Mercury Records and the rest is history.
His first single was "Walk A Little Straighter." Fans were able to see the true side of Billy Currington and right off the bat, people knew who he was and where he came from. He later teamed up with Shania Twain on the song "Party For Two."
The song "Doin' Somethin' Right" brought him his first number one hit and was soon followed by "Good Directions." Both of these hits opened up a whole new world and helped put Billy onto a different level of success. After a period of time off to deal with personal problems, Billy Currington has now completed his third album and is ready for his fans to check it out. He sounds refreshed and better than ever.
"Life & Love And The Meaning Of" is a song that was written by Billy, Tony Martin and Mark Nesler. It has a familiar sound, but the meaning is something totally different. Sometimes people have a whole different outlook on some subjects than others, and the character is trying to figure out what the meaning of life and love are truly about.
The first single off of this record is a great tune called "Don't." This is about a new relationship that's just getting off the ground. When there are all sorts of emotions going on, sometimes people fight them, while others want to go further. Well, Billy is the one wanting to go further in this tune.
"Walk On" is a personal favorite. Have you ever walked down the street and passed someone that just grabbed your attention. The physical attraction is mind blowing and you would do anything to get the nerve to even strike up a conversation, but you just can't make it happen. That describes this song perfectly.
This album is just in time for the holidays and will surely be at the top of any country music lover's list.
