Guide Review - Little Texas - Live and Loud (The Very Best of Little Texas)
Those 4 guys from the big state of Texas known as Little Texas are back again with a brand new live CD called Live and Loud (The Very Best of Little Texas). It's released by Montage Music and includes 11 tracks of Little Texas favorites like "My Love" and "Kick A Little."Little Texas landed on the country music scene back in 1994 with their hugely successful CD called Big Time. It produced a couple really huge hits like the previously mentioned "My Love" as well as the ballad "What Might Have Been." And let's not forget the hit that's become their signature song "God Bless Texas." All these songs and more can be heard on this live CD. They also toss in a few cover versions of a couple rock classics - "Peaceful, Easy Feeling," originally done by The Eagles as well as the Beatles hit "Get Back." Tracks 4 and 8 are medleys of some of their favorites. The first medley includes the songs "Some Guys Have All The Love"/"My Love"/"First Time For Everything." The second medley includes the songs "You and Forever and Me"/"I'd Rather Miss You."
Other tracks on this CD are "Kick A Little," "Hello Again," "Life Goes On," "Amy's Back in Austin," "Loud And Proud" and "What Might Have Been" just to name a few. Another thing that makes this CD fun is that the audience is part of the recording. You can really hear and feel the energy from the fans who came to see this performance. If you enjoy the music of Little Texas, you'll love this CD.
