Faith Hill - Fireflies

This album is all I've been waiting for and far more than I expected. Faith has once again out done herself with this album. There isn't a song on it that I don't like. Faith's sixth album and she does an incredible job on all the songs. There are some great ballads and a special Duet with husband Tim. One you won't want to miss adding to your collection of country CD's. Plug it into your cd player in your car and right off "Sunshine and Summertime" comes on, and you are good to go.

Faith says this album is what she wanted it to be, an album full of real stories, about life experiences. I believe it is that and more. She has done a beautiful job on this album and I must say it was well worth the wait. Her voice is stronger and more vibrant than before, maybe because of maturity in her voice.

After she thought she was done with this project, she added three more songs, ("Stealing Kisses" and "If You Ask") including my ultimate favorite, the title for the album "Fireflies." After hearing a song written by Lori McKenna, she says she was floored and had to hear more. I don't blame her, when I first heard "Fireflies" it took me back to my childhood and made me remember things I hadn't thought of in a long time. Thanks Faith.

I knew she had a sense of humor, and she shows that in "Dearly Beloved" a funny (but kind of sad) song about a bride and groom getting married, solemnly swearing "I do", and then the words say "they'll be together forever 'Til they find somebody new." The music has a great Country feel. Tim McGraw makes an appearance with a duet in "Like We Never Loved At All." They are so great together and that is apparent in this song.
