Guide Review - Kenny Chesney - The Road and the Radio
It might take some time finding happiness according to "The Road and the Radio," but sometimes you need to hit the open road in order to clear your mind. That way, you have room to roam and think about things. You can shut the door behind you before moving on to whatever the future will hold. The first single from 'The Road and the Radio' is "Who You'd Be Today," a very touching song about people that were taken from this earth before their time. They didn't have a chance to live their life to the fullest. "You Save Me" finds Kenny singing about how he admires his lady for staying, even though he isn't always perfect.
"Summertime" is a fun song, sounding perfect for release to radio next year. Kenny lets the warm air melt his blues away in "Beer in Mexico." A beachside bungalow in a place where nobody knows your name is ideal when you want to be alone. "Tequila Loves Me," Kenny sings, and will soon heal his hurt. In the last song, singing and playing the guitar is what Kenny says he was destined to do: "Dreamin' big and living free."
