Aaron Tippin has one of the most distinctive and truly country voices in country music today. With this, his debut album, he showed immediately that he meant business. Not for him the pretty-boy look that was popularized at the time; instead, a solidly built body builder with a crewcut glowered from the CD jacket; no cowboy hat, no soft lazy smile.

George Strait consistently modernizes country music while keeping it rooted in tradition. The title track sports a contemporary pop-influenced melody, but surrounded by pedal steel, it remains a country song, and a good one. The album's full of good country songs, especially the old-school honky-tonk of "King of the Hill," and the power ballad "Carried Away."

This album contains not only the wonderful title cut, but a cover of Vern Gosdin's "Today My World Slipped Away," "One Night At a Time," and "Round About Way."

Jennifer reviews George Strait's 'It Just Comes Natural' CD.

"Murder on Music Row," one of the two new songs from this release won the 2001 CMA Song of the year. This album contains songs from Lead On, Blue Clear Sky, Carrying Your Love With Me, and One Step At A Time. Also includes the hit "The Best Day."

George Strait acted in the movie as well as sang the entire soundtrack. Four songs were released from the album. Three of them were Top 10 hits; "Heartland," and "I Cross My Heart," both hit the top of the charts while "When Did You Stop Loving Me" came in at No. 6. The fourth song, "Overnight Male" never made the Top 40.

How can you go wrong with four CDs of George Strait classic hits? They include 31 #1 songs plus 19 choice album cuts. The songs cover his career from 1981 through 1995. A must for any Strait fan!

This is Strait's 28th release, & it makes use of computerized programming to change George's voice on a few of the tracks. With the studio gimmickry out of the way, George & producer Tony Brown, get down to business with the great Merle Haggard song "My Life's Been Grand. Other standout tracks include the bar room fun of "Good Time Charley's," "The Real Thing" & "She'll Leave You With A Smile."

While it wasn't the album that contained his first #1 song, it was the one that skyrocketed Tim McGraw into the country music stratosphere. With six #1 songs, including "It's Your Love," which spent six weeks at the top of the charts, this was the album that really made Tim McGraw a household name.

Review of Tim McGraw's "Greatest Hits Volume 2: Reflected." cd.

Tim released his Greatest Hits package at the end of 2000, & even without additional tracks this CD was named the top album of 2001, selling 2 million copies. Nearly all of McGraw's hits are contained here, yet without new material, this is for someone just getting to know his work, or die hard fans that must have everything he's released.

The Grammy-award winning talent is shown in all of his hit videos, including "Indian Outlaw," "Please Remember Me," "It's Your Love," and "Down on the Farm." There are nine videos in all.

When "Indian Outlaw" was released, it became a smash hit song. There was some controversy about the lyrics which further made Tim a recognizable artist. His second single was "Don't Take The Girl." Featuring a memorable set of lyrics that talk about a guy's struggles throughout his life, the song became a multi-week number one hit.

Tim McGraw has won the CMA Male Vocalist of the Year several years, but until 2001, the Entertainer of the Year award eluded him. This album contains "The Cowboy in Me," "Grown Men Don't Cry," and "Angry All The Time."
