Bottom Line:

If you're looking for an awesome CD that's full of great music and the proceeds go towards a great cause, you must get Clover Country. It was put together by the National 4-H Council as a way to help the young people of America gain developmental skills to help them in their future.

The National 4-H Council Mission statement is "To advance the 4-H youth development movement to build a world in which youth and adults learn, grow and work together as catalysts for positive change." They are committed to helping young people grow into fine adults. Anytime you go to a fair, what do you see? You see 4-H booths all throughout the area and children taking care of their cows, chickens, pigs and any other animals in the competition. This lets the kids have the responsibility of taking care of an animal, show it, sell it and make a little bit of money. It gives them a purpose, something we all need in life to appreciate what it's all about. It also keeps them off the street and out of drugs and criminal actions. There is never enough great things to say about this amazing organzation. This CD is a great chance for you to be able to listen to some great tunes as well as help support something amazing.

Hillary Lindsey (Lady Antebellum) delivers the first tune off this unique record. "The Clown" has an interesting sound and subject matter. It's about painting a smile on when times are tough. We have all had times when things are rough, but you just put on that smile and move on. For someone who is petrified of clowns, this song is very good.

Faith Hill shows she still has what it takes on a live version of "Stronger." Her amazing vocals and soulful sound shines bright on this tune.

There is a version on Johnny Cash singing "I Walk The Line." This classic song will always be a favorite, no matter how many times I hear it. Hearing the "Man in Black" still gives me chills. No one does it like the legends.

Country music icon Reba McEntire's voice can also be heard on this record. "You're Gonna Be" shot straight to the top when it was originally released and now you can enjoy it all over again. Hearing her sing about life and love is one of the best things in the world.

No one on earth is more proud of their roots than Country Music Hall of Fame members Alabama. They're proud of their country raising and on "My Home's In Alabama," you can see why they love their home state so much.

Dolly Parton's "My Tennessee Mountain Home" is legendary. This is one of those story songs that you must hear from start to finish.

"I Still Believe In You" helped Vince Gill become a household name. It's about believing in someone no matter what. Sometimes it's hard to do, but Vince makes it look so easy.

The last song on this album is Luke Bryan singing "We Rode In Trucks." For a newcomer, he seems to know what it's all about. This tune takes you back to his life growing up in the country. This album is perfect. It's a must have for any country music lover.

Go out and support your local 4-H and get Clover Country.
