Craig Morgan just keeps getting better and better. With his fourth album, he continues the hard hitting lyrics that are mixed liberally with his humorous side for a well balanced musical meal. I would highly recommend this album for any country music fan.
Craig Does It Again
Little Bit of Life is Craig's fourth studio album. Craig continues to write and record material that is strong lyrically as well as having a delivery that ropes the audience in and holds them spellbound. The songs he writes are about everyday life and his music has a positive theme. He sings about the strengths of a family and the everyday joys of life. His tongue in cheek humor is very evident in songs like "International Harvester" and the light-hearted "I Guess You Had to Be There." These songs are mixed up with powerful ballads like "Tough" and "The Ballad of Mr. Jenkins." He thought he was tough until he watched his wife go through cancer treatments never losing her positive attitude. And Mr. Jenkins seems like a broken old man on the outside, easily discounted until you learn what his life has dealt him and suddenly he becomes a person to be respected and looked up to. "Little Bit of Life" is the title track and the first single. It is a fast paced fun song that does just what the title implies - touches on the little moments of life that make it worth living. "Little bit of windows open, little dixie cup of homemade wine, little bit of yee haw in the hay" and all the other little bits combine to make a great life.Song List:
