Sugarland - 'Love On The Inside' Deluxe Fan Edition Review

One of the hottest duos in country music is releasing their latest project titled Love on The Inside. Sugarland hit country music like a hurricane a few years ago and with the sound of this record, they are still a category five. Every record gets better as these two progress on their artistic journey.

Sugarland Beginnings

When Sugarland exploded onto the country music scene a few years ago, fans fell in love with their quirky personality and down to earth lyrics. Every song off of their previous two albums, Twice The Speed Of Life and Enjoy The Ride, has only helped the fans get prepared for what was to come.

Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles give every ounce of their being to their music and fans. It is obvious every time they step on stage, this is something that they were meant to do. They both release a special chemistry that's extremely hard to find. You can tell that they rely on each other for everything that has to do with Sugarland.

Unique album covers a given
One thing that is always unique is their album covers. They are always off-the-wall art work, but clever, and something that will grab your attention as you're browsing through the store.

Points for including song lyrics
For the most part, the lyrics are included in the booklet, which helps fans catch every word to their favorite tune. The harmonies that Kristian and Jennifer create are amazing. Jennifer's voice is so unique, no one can deny that it is her singing. That is one thing that help shoot their career to the top. Whenever fans turned on the radio, they were able to tell her voice from everyone else's.

One thing that I will say about this album is the song selection is totally different. There are not as many "bubbly" songs as there tended to be on the other two records. It is obvious they are growing faster that anyone in country music.

'Love on the Inside' - The Songs

This record starts out with a bang. The first single is already a huge hit for them and anytime you turn on the radio, you stand a good chance of hearing "All I Want To Do." Honestly, at first, I really wasn't that big of a fan of this tune, but once I actually paid attention to the words and heard Jennifer hitting all of those high notes, I was hooked. This is a catchy little number about her idea of a good time with her other half. You will be singing along in no time.

"Joey" is a tune that really stands out. This was written by Sugarland and Country Music Hall of Fame Member, Bill Anderson. This is a song about realizing where you went wrong in a relationship. This is a great tune.

If you are a fan of Steve Earle, well there is a song on here that is dedicated to his life and career, and well, his wives. This song is country! Your foot will be tapping from the start, hearing Jennifer asking the legend to write her a song. I promise, you'll be cracking up by the end.

One song that really stands out is "Already Gone." It was written by Sugarland and Bobby Pinson. This is a perfect song about life, love, and having your heart broken. Most people, at some point or another, have had their heart shattered. Going through this only helps you prepare for the other obstacles that life throws in your path, but everyone has to take that chance in order to know if it was meant to be. They really hit this one head on.

Another tune that can only be heard on the "Deluxe" version is "Come And Get Higher." Now, I won't say that this is the best track, but it can stand with the best of them. It was recorded live, which only adds to the feeling. It was written by Matt Nathanson. The lyrics are amazing, and Kristian Bush is incredible on the acoustic guitar, which is the only thing that is backing Jennifer's talented voice.

Hearing this song will help you understand what some people go through when they have just ended a relationship. Most of the time, things are said just to hurt the other person, but if you could take them back, you would in a heartbeat. Hearing this may even make you think about things in your own life. The arrangement is perfect and it could only have been delivered by this amazing duo.

The "Deluxe Fan Edition" offers an additional five songs including the smash hit "Life In A Northern Town." This was recorded live and includes Little Big Town and Jake Owen all performing throughout the track.

The "Deluxe" record also includes some special video content that can be played on any computer. Love On the Inside is an amazing record that will surely be breaking chart history in the very near future.
