Bottom Line:

As one of country music's leading ladies, Trisha Yearwood has always produced quality music. Every album shows the extra love she puts into each song. With one of the strongest voices known in any genre, Trisha's fans spread far and wide. Constantly evolving with the times. it's only natural that her latest album Heaven, Heartache And The Power Of Love would be her best one yet.

Although Trisha has continued to change with the times, she still remains true to her roots. Recording music that has meaning, truth and soul behind it has helped keep her career at the top for so many years. Refusing to settle with a song or add "filler" material keeps her albums full of quality. While most artists are only searching for a couple good songs for an album, Trisha searches for a full record's worth of songs to make it enjoyable from start to finish.

In this day and time where buying one song on the internet has become so common, artists have to up their game in order to keep record sales up. Well, for Trisha this was only normal. Every song leaves you begging for more. Her voice sounds better than it did the day she started. The amount of class this talented icon displays constantly amazes her established fans and newcomers alike. It is easy to believe every word in her songs because of the raw emotion she displays. Whether you are listening to her on a CD or live in concert, you will feel she is singing directly to you. When listening to Trisha, you can hear the spirit of Patsy Cline coming through her voice. Every word she sings can be heard and easily understood. You will never have to look at at the lyrics of the album jacket just to find out what she is saying. After listening to this album, it feels like perhaps Trisha Yearwood is just getting warmed up.

When going into the studio Trisha wasn't stingy with the number of songs she wanted. Recording thirteen songs total, this is truly a work of art.

The first single also happens to be the first track on the album. "Heaven, Heartache And The Power Of Love" is now a smash hit. The song and the video have made several trips on many of the country charts. This is a fun tune that will appeal to all genres.

Trisha has been known for recording all types of songs. Whether they are love songs, cheating songs, or even leaving songs, she can do them with ease. "They Call It Falling For A Reason" is a perfect example of her classic love songs. Although this is not a typical slow love tune, it expresses how "high" she is on love.

"Nothin' 'Bout Memphis" is a personal favorite. This song displays the sound that Trisha has perfected. It is the slow, soulful, passionate sound that anyone who is listening will say, "yup, that's Trisha Yearwood."

Bringing in some help from country superstar Keith Urban on "Let The Wind Chase You" was a great idea. Their voices blended very well, and although he only sang harmony on the song, you could make out very quickly that it was him.

This is a perfect album for any Trisha fan. With Christmas around the corner, run out and buy a copy for that special someone on your list. The only way to describe this is awesome.
