That's Why Bottom Line:

Craig Morgan is back with his brand new CD called That's Why. It's his 5th studio album, and his first on BNA Records. It includes the newly released single "Love Remembers."

About Craig Morgan

It was just 8 years ago when Craig Morgan released his self titled debut album on Atlantic Records. Since that debut release, he moved to Broken Bow Records where he would stay through his next 3 releases - I Love It, My Kind of Livin and Little Bit of Life. He also has recently released a greatest hits collection.

Along the way, Craig Morgan has struggled to get his music heard. Well, it must have worked because the fans listened and responded with resounding approval.

Craig has always been the kind of performer who has stuck to his roots when it came to the songs he chose to put on his albums. Songs that reflect his belief in God, Country, Family and the south.

He was born in Kingston Springs, Tenn, and by the age of 18, He had become an emergency medical technician. A few years later, he joined the Army. It was during part of his military career, he was taking part in a banquet to honor the military's very first Airborne unit and wrote a song about them. His superior officers liked the song so much that they made him part of the program.

While in the Army, he spent some time in Korea. While there, he won several singing and songwriting contests. He even opened a show for the country group Sawyer Brown.

Once he was back in the states, he continued writing and singing on studio demos. This was how he earned his living and supported his family. He also held other jobs to bring in money such as a plain-clothes department store security guard, a deputy sheriff, a construction worker and an employee at Wal-Mart.

That's Why - The Songs:

It was his demo recordings that eventually landed him at Broken Bow Records after leaving Atlantic. And in 2005, he had his first No. 1 hit with the song "That's What I Love About Sunday."

Now he's back with a brand new record on a brand new label. That's Why is his first release on BNA Records. It's 10 powerful tracks of the kind of music that's made Craig Morgan a fan favorite. The song from the CD called "Sticks" is reminiscent of the Garth Brooks' hit "Friends In Low Places."

The songs "Summer Sundown" and the rockin' "Every Red Light" are really catchy, and reflect that genuine slice of country living.

The first single entitled "Love Remembers" tells the story of trying to find a new love when you're still wanting what you had with someone else, and no amount of pretending will block out the memories.

"Lookin' Back With You" is a song about growing old with the one you love and looking forward to the days when you're older so you can look back on the life you built together.

"That's Why" is for the workin' man who gets up every day and goes to his job so he can provide for his family.

"It Took A Woman" is your typical 'it took a woman to make a man out of me' kind of song.

One of the most powerful songs on the album is "Ordinary Angels." It's about every day people stepping up to do extraordinary things to help someone in need.

That's Why is destined to become one of Craig Morgan's best recordings ever. His powerful baritone voice brings life to every track. A must for any Craig Morgan fan.
