When it comes to Trisha Yearwood, there is no way to describe her talent. She can take a simple song and turn it into a work of art. Her songs are about life, love, and heartache and everything in between. Now, you can get a collection of tunes that are dedicated to love and all of the little things that go with it. You may own all the songs, but now you can get them on one album called Love Songs.
It's awesome to hear some of these songs, especially the ones that never really got any air play. Some of the writers that contributed to the creation of each song are from Nashville's "A" list. Everyone from Jessi Alexander and Sonya Isaacs to Rodney Crowell, Craig Wiseman and Tia Sillers had a hand in writing these unforgettable tunes. Of course, Trisha's long time producer, Garth Fundis, used his magic touch from behind the sound board.
Even if you're not a die-hard Trisha Yearwood fan, this album contains some of her best songs and can be heard right here. Going all the way back to the start of her career in 1991, "That's What I Like About You" became one of her biggest hits and put her center stage. The song is classic and helped mold the "Trisha Yearwood" sound.
"She's In Love With The Boy" became what is known as her "signature" song. It brought to life an issue that every family has. The issue where the father feels that his daughter's boyfriend is never good enough. It also shows that in the end the girl will do what she wants to for the sake of love.

Rodney Crowell's pen never runs out until there is a masterpiece written on the paper. When you take the "Michelangelo" of country music and mix him with Trisha Yearwood, perfection will be the end result. Well, that's the case with "I Don't Fall In Love So Easy." It's a perfect example of one big contradiction. This takes place between a man and a woman. The woman is explaining how she don't fall in love easy and she don't move fast because it never lasts. She goes on to say that she doesn't even know where to start when it comes to falling in love. Well, she then finally admits that she is falling in love with him.
"The Nightingale" is another tune that has Trisha looking for love. The music alone is amazing, but when her voice is blended, it is bone chilling. Trisha can truly step into the role of someone who has given up on love and then find it in the end.
"Powerful Thing" speeds things up again. This toe tapping tune shows two people who are so in love, that together share something that is much bigger than ever imagined.
"I'll Still Love You More" is another soulful ballad that shows off her awesome talent. The song title says it all. This album is awesome from start to finish. It's perfect for any Trisha Yearwood fan, whether they be young or old.
