Bonnie Raitt is an Americana icon with a distinct vocal style and strong guitar skills. VH1 Classic Decades Rock Live presents the icon with some of her friends like Alison Krauss, Norah Jones, Ben Harper and Keb' Mo'. With a 17 song DVD that presents the concert and a bonus 12 track CD of the concert, Bonnie and her friends showcase how much fun artists get to have when they play together.

The concept for this DVD/CD combo was provided by the cable TV station's Decades Rock Live! show. It's a show which finds classic artists performing some of their favorite songs, often with guest artists helping them out. After five strong blues rock songs from Bonnie's latest CD Souls Alike, Alison Krauss guests on the bluegrass-like songs "You" and "Papa Come Quick." On both of them Alison showcases her fine fiddling skills. Blues artist Keb' Mo' joins Bonnie for two fine Blues rockers in "No Getting' Over You" and "Love Letter."Slide Guitarist/vocalist Ben Harper joins in on "Two Lights In The Nightime" and the Bob Dylan chestnut, "Well, Well, Well." A Bonnie Raitt concert wouldn't be complete without her signature hit, the Grammy-winning "Something To Talk About." The wonderful Norah Jones helps out on "I Don't Want To Change A Thing" and the great "Tennessee Waltz" these two songs showcase that Norah Jones has as much country in her blood as any mainstream country artist has, perhaps even more. All of the 'special guests' sing with Bonnie on her other classic hit "Love Sneakin' Up On You."
