Brittany Wells - Loving Every Minute Of It

The Bottom Line

While Brittany Wells is just starting out in country music, she seems to be destined for great things. Sure, she’s not on a “major label” in Nashville but neither was teenager Blaine Larsen when he released his CD early this year (he’s now with BNA). What I’m saying is that sometimes, the best start out with a few believers and after some success; they’re soon being hailed as the next big thing. I think Brittany Wells can certainly be a star in Country music.
Pros
  • “Kick Down The Door”
  • "From Harm’s Way”
  • “Somebody’s Somebody”
Cons
  • Some may think she’s just a pretty face with a “pop-flavored” voice.

Description

  • The pretty Brittany has a voice that recalls Faith Hill and sometimes Bette Midler.
  • Produced by Wyatt Easterling.
  • Released by Spindletop Records and CBuJ Entertainment.

Guide Review - Brittany Wells - Loving Every Minute Of It

She’s been both a “Miss Teen Texas” (for 2002) and a ranked Tennis player (USTA) yet what most people will know Brittany Wells from is her singing talent. Hard work and determination are required to do anything successful in life and if her previous endeavors are any indication, Brittany Wells is destined for stardom. For her debut album Brittany and producer Wyatt Easterling selected 14 strong songs from the best of the best in Nashville.[phttp://erclk.about.com/?zi=1/Z%5dvLeading off the record is “Too Long.” It’s a lovely slow building track about a girl who has realized that she always puts other people first in her life and it’s about time for her to be good to herself. The title track is a torch-y slice of R&B inspired country while the Georgia Middleman penned “Kick Down the Door” is a fun honky tonker from a girl longing to be in love. Wyatt Easterling, Drew Womack and Deanna Jordan wrote “That’s What I Said.” If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought it was Faith Hill singing: very nice. “From Harm’s Way” is Brittany’s first single and it is a remarkable piece of music about a woman praying for the safe return of her husband off to war. Sherrie Austin’s “Somebody’s Somebody is fun up-tempo track while “Shoes” is a cute song.[phttp://erclk.about.com/?zi=1/Z%5dwEach of the songs from “Loving Every Minute Of It” feature Brittany’s beautiful voice that is equally adept at singing honky tonk, traditional, or pop-flavored country music. Brittany Wells is a talented newcomer that is going places.
