Guide Review - Rascal Flatts - Feels Like Today
This is an album that a lot of fans, especially younger fans will relate to. The days of first loves, and missing that special someone when they're gone. But, don't get me wrong. The album will also appeal to older fans for the same reasons, as well as those that may like a song with a good melody, one that's good to dance to, as they used to say on "American Bandstand." And this is that album.
In "Bless the Broken Road," the story is about all the experiences in life, good and bad that lead the way to finding that one you were meant to be with. They sing "Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars. Pointing me on my way into your loving arms."
They sing of living your life to the fullest in "When the Sand Runs Out." They sing a tribute to their fans in "Here's To You." The final song, "Oklahoma-Texas County Line" is a rockin' wild time.
About a minute after the final song is through there is a beautiful hidden track, "Skin" that I won't even try to describe. Please let your CD continue to run to hear it.
The CD also includes the documentary on the "Making of the Album" if you insert it into your CD ROM.
Rascal Flatts have sold over 4 million albums, and this disc is sure to increase that number greatly. Another winner from the reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group.
