Guide Review - Jerry Reed - Jerry Reed Live Still
'Jerry Reed Live Still' is a fun album to listen to. Jerry has long been one of my favorite performers both musically and on the different sitcoms, music shows and movies I've seen him in. He never fails to put a smile on my face with his humor. After decades in the music business he is not only releasing his first 'Live' project, but launching a new website as well. You can visit Jerry's official website to learn what Jerry is currently up to. (See url in Links at right) In concert, Jerry has a good time with his audience. He chats throughout his songs and changes them around a little to fit the mood of the crowd while joking around in between. You will find the same thing in this album. The songs aren't exactly like they are on the original album releases. Jerry is talking a little during the music and trying to get the audience involved in the show.On the album you find such favorites as "Amos Moses," "She Got The Goldmine," "East Bound & Down" and "When You're Hot, You're Hot." A fun new song included on it is "Father Time and Gravity." That song will have you rolling by the second line and you won't stop laughing until the end. It is a perfect example of what kind of humor Jerry possesses. Even with not being able to exactly sing along with my favorite songs, I really did enjoy this album. Jerry is one of the legends and will always be someone I enjoy listening to. Anyone with a love of the music he has done will enjoy having this album in their collection.
