Craig Morgan - My Kind of Livin'

Broken Bow

The Bottom Line

This CD is one of the best I've listened to in a very long time. Every song was sung from the heart and invoked memories of Americana at its best. Craig Morgan has a very traditional sound, and his material fits his voice and personality like a glove. You won't find someone trying to fit with a popular 'niche' to achieve success. With Craig, he achieves success while remaining true to his love of the music he makes. This album is definitely a keeper.

Guide Review - Craig Morgan - My Kind of Livin'

I've been a fan of Craig Morgan since I listened to his debut album. Then I had the chance to see him perform an acoustic set to a small audience and his talent blew me away. He has consistently recorded material that anyone can relate to. It is all about life in Anytown, USA. You will always find pride of his country, love of his family and the desire to enjoy life to its fullest in the music he records.

His first album teased us with what was to come. His second album made him a recognized name on radio with consistent airplay. With his third album, the sky is the limit. It is an amazing project, and one that will make people stand up and take notice.

In My Kind of Livin', Craig has co-written eight of the 12 tracks. His first single, "That's What I Love About Sunday," has already gone number one. The second single, "Blame Me," is just being released to radio. He invited John Conlee and Brad Paisley to join him for the lighthearted song that has three country boys having a great time.

Another fun song was "I'm Country." He talks about a hole in his backyard that is really a barbeque pit and a 10 pt. buck and a squirrel hanging on his wall. He says, "my neck is red by the grace of God, and I'm country."

"Lotta Man (In That Little Boy)" is a touching song about a little boy who is very grown up for his age and the different responsibilities he takes on.

The whole album is excellent and will be an enjoyable addition to any music collection.
