Guide Review - Restless Heart - Still Restless
A veteran band that scored its first hit in 1985 back by popular demand and a long awaited album release. "Feel My Way To You" with it's up-tempo beat is the band's first single by all 5-band members since 1991. The vocal blend led by Stewarts voice, keyboards by Innis, guitar by Jennings, steady rhythm of drummer by Dittrich and Gregg on bass. Today as they all come together, they choose songs of conviction and creativity. The dance beat of "Yesterdays News" and the rockin' song of the collection "Makin' Hay," with a guitar solo from Greg really gets you fired up. This album also offers Restless heart ballads like no other one can with "And More," "Down the Road" and Miracle." Which tells about love in so many ways with lots and lots of compassion. There's a story about a woman that lives a rather reckless style of life in "Looking Back."
They have more instruments that include the Dobro and the fiddle on this album with the classic song; "The Night Before." "What We Know Now," the last track on the album, show what this band has been through. "We never saw the writing on the wall," they just went in, made music and it all took off from there. Now they are starting all over and hoping to be able to do it all over again, hopefully this time with more appreciation. I hope it all works out for these guys, because I really liked Restless Heart before and with this album, I think they have a great start.
