Guide Review - Tim McGraw - 'Live Like You Were Dying'
I recently got the chance to see Tim live and he was incredible. He performed a few of the new songs from this album, but my favorites were "Can't Tell Me Nothin'," and "How Bad Do You Want It." I had seen Tim another time way back, when he and Faith were touring together. He's always been one of my favorites, I just really like the style of music he picks and the way he performs them.
A great song on this album talks about missing the simple ways and the way it was "Back When." Tim also sang "My Old Friend" at the concert I was at, which was a highlight, with them showing a video presentation of pictures that his friend Danny Knight, an Army Chaplain sent him from Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to seeing Tim make his acting debut in "Black Cloud" as Sheriff Powers in September, and his major motion picture acting debut in October in the film "Friday Night Lights" with Billy Bob Thornton. You don't want to miss adding this album to your collection. It's a Keeper!
