Guide Review - Willie Nelson - Live at Billy Bob's Texas
How can you go wrong with all the songs Willie has sung to us over the years with hits like; "Crazy," "Blue Eye's Cryin' In The Rain," "On The Road Again" to "Funny How Time Slips Away." You just can't. It's been well over 20 years that Willie first stepped onto that stage. Since the opening of the largest Honky Tonk ever, Willie has performed I hear, at least twice a year and has played to sold out crowds for more than 3 hours every time. The word out there is they wanted this to be like you are sitting right in the front row watching Willie perform. Maybe even feel like you could catch his bandana.Willie's first No. 1 was in 1975 with "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", and he scored 19 more No. 1's over the next 14 years. Now he has returned to the top again in his duet with Toby Keith, "Beer for My Horses," with a video and all. But my all time favorites are Willie's version of Patsy Clines "Crazy" and "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" in which he won a Grammy for with Waylon Jennings.
all of these hits, Willie has been awarded many honors. Admission to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1973, the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001. He's also been given the Living Legend Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. So it's only right that he still packs a house and sells records in numbers to high to count. Don't miss adding this exceptional live album and bonus DVD to your country Music Collection.
