Guide Review - Various Artists - Medicine Of Love

Every once in a while, a CD comes along that offers a little more than just great country music. Such is the case with the CD entitled 'Medicine Of Music.' It features some of today's top country performers lending their songs to a very worthy cause, raising funds for the Songs of Love® Foundation. More about the foundation at the end of this review. First, let's talk about the outstanding selection of songs on this CD. With songs like Joe Nichols "The Impossible," Trace Adkins "Then They Do," Lee Ann Womack "I Hope You Dance," Buddy Jewell "Help Pour Out The Rain" and Gary Allan "Tough Little Boys" just to name a select few, you can't go wrong. And not only is this CD packed with great country songs, it's to help a worthy cause, the Songs Of Love® Foundation.

Destiny Dawn Dyer is an 11-year-old girl who receives treatment at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville for a rare bone disease. She was very excited to receive a CD containing a song written, performed and recorded just for her by Deborah Allen, Anita Cochran and Tammy Cochran.
