Guide Review - Ronnie Milsap - Christmas with Ronnie Milsap
Out of all the Christmas albums I have, this is my favorite. I'm a lover of the traditional Christmas carols, and most of the album has songs like "Silver Bells," "O Holy Night" and "I'll Be Home For Christmas." His voice is smooth and makes you think of the scent of pine needles and cinnamon sticks and you can almost feel the warm cup of hot chocolate in your hands. He inserts a spoken piece where he just talks about Christmas and what it means to him and his family. It gives the album a more personal feel to it.It is amazing that in over three decades in the music business, and many album releases, Ronnie has only released one Christmas album. It is my Christmas wish for a brand new holiday album from Ronnie. Meanwhile, I'll pop in this one and go trim the tree.
