Tim McGraw - Greatest Hits, Vol. 2

Curb Records

"God Only Cries" - Diamond Rio
In the style of their big hit, "I Believe," this song has a story that many people can relate to. It's good to hear something new from these guys.

"When The Stars Go Blue" - Tim McGraw
While this song isn't new this week, it's only been out a week or so, and has just debuted at No. 35 on Billboard's singles chart for the week of March 18th. Not bad! I love when Tim sings in falsetto, and there are a few places in this song that he does just that. The song can be found on his upcoming Greatest Hits 2 release, coming out on March 28th.

"Not Ready To Make Nice" - Dixie Chicks
From their upcoming album, Taking The Long Way, which hits stores on May 23rd. I had seen the lyrics on the Dixie Chicks website, but it's hard to judge a song by just lyrics. Finally heard a clip this week, and it's a pretty decent song. It's not hardcore country, but then they said they were heading more towards pop, so listen with that in mind. It would be nice to hear the Dixie Chicks on country radio again. Let's see if this song is the one that will do it.

"Call Me Crazy" - The Lost Trailers
This new group on BNA sounds really good, and they're actually country. Not just glorified pop artists. I like this one. It's really catchy. I think these guys just might be a group to look for in the years go come.
