"New Strings" - Miranda Lambert
This is Miranda's fourth single from the album, Kerosene. This is a spirited song of a girl that is leaving a releationship where her guy did not believe in her, so she's off to bigger and better things. I like this song a lot, but was hoping they'd release "I Can't Be Bothered" instead. Maybe that will be the next single.
"Things I Miss The Most" - Van Zant
More great music from the Van Zant brothers. I think this one will do well. Got a country-rock-bluesy sound to it.
"Coalmine" - Sara Evans
When I first heard Sara's album, this was track one, and I knew this was going to be my favorite album she's done. Well, at least until I hear her next one, right? This great *country* song is awesome, and Sara and the songwriters are giving a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this single to benefit the families of the Sego mine disaster in West Virginia.
"Do We Still" - Rockie Lynne
I totally loved Rockie's song, "Lipstick," and can't understand why it didn't do better on the charts. This song is about a relationship that is over. He sings, I know we said I do, but do we still.
"That Girl Is A Cowboy" - Garth Brooks
The third single from Garth's Lost Sessions CD. This one has always kind of reminded me of those good Western songs he had on his albums, like "Cowboy Bill," "Alabama Clay," "In Lonesome Dove," and "The Cowboy Song."
"Call Me Crazy" - Lost Trailers
I absolutely adore the Lost Trailers, and this song is just the thing to introduce them to a larger listening audience. They're newly signed with BNA Nashville, and this song has that kind of California-country vibe to it. Love it! You can buy this single at iTunes. I don't have a direct link, however.
