This week, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" toppled the eight-week record held by Connie Smith's "Once a Day." Taylor Swift's peppy song is now the title holder for the -- big breath! -- female solo artist with the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Songs chart. Whew! Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" keeps idling at #2, and Hunter Hayes's "Wanted" boot-scoots from #5 to #3. The Band Perry's new single "Better Dig Two" enters the top 10 this week -- making a dramatic jump from #13 to #4. And welcome Toby Keith's new single "Hope on the Rocks" at #48.

It's looking to be merry holidays for Taylor Swift, who's still on top with Red, and the three ghosts of Christmas present -- Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton, and Scotty McCreery -- who fill out the mid-section of the top 5. Jason Aldean's Night Train dawdles in the caboose position at #5. Look for fortunes to change once the New Year arrives Christmas albums gather dust 'til next December. Much further down the charts, holiday shoppers brought Willie Nelson's Heroes from #46 to #27 and Miranda Lambert's Four the Record from #28 to #18.

Florida Georgia Line finally get a win. The group's song "Cruise" sped past Taylor Swift to claim the #18 spot, making them the top country act on the radio. Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" dropped from #13 to #21. At the same time, country singer Justin Moore rode the rails from #28 to #23 with his new single "Til My Last Day." Zac Brown and the boys experience a nice change of fortune after the lackluster chart performance of "The Wind." Their latest single from Uncaged, "Goodbye in Her Eyes," which is also making headway on the country songs chart, skyrocketed from #35 to #25 on the radio.
