It's a spring cleaning of sorts on the country singles charts this week, as longtime lingerers Zac Brown ("No Hurry"), Kip Moore ("Somethin' 'Bout a Truck"), and Carrie Underwood ("Good Girl") make way for Brantley Gilbert, Luke Bryan, and Eric Church, who round out the top three. Speaking of which, "Springsteen" is the #1 country song this week -- becoming the second #1 song of Church's career (the first was "Drink in My Hand") and his first platinum single. Well done!

Also making a splash is the self-titled debut by One Tree Hill actress-turned-country songstress Jana Kramer, who nestles in at #5. All these newcomers knock Eric Church's Chief down to #6 and Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party to #7. Meanwhile, Lionel Richie's smash duet collection, Tuskegee, dips down to its lowest ranking yet: #4.

Comments

Radio listeners retreated this week from Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl," which until now has been dominating the airwaves. It dropped from #17 to, uh, #25. That wasn't the case for Eric Church who continued his advance, from #19 to #18, with "Springsteen." Also making considerable gains were the Eli Young Band's "Even If It Breaks Your Heart," which moved from #36 to #29, and another song with a long title -- Brantley Gilbert's "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" -- which shot from #33 to #23.
