It's been a total of five weeks at No. 1 for Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dyin'" although not consecutively. He slipped to No. 2 one week, but bounced back again. The song has lost its bullet and should start moving down the chart next week. At No. 2 is Kenny Chesney with "I Go Back," also without a bullet. At No. 3 is Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss with "Whiskey Lullaby" which does have a bullet and is my prediction for the No. 1 spot next week. At No. 4 is Josh Gracin's "I Want To Live." It also has a bullet and should move up next week, although I don't see it overtaking Brad and Alison. But don't count out Keith Urban's "Days Go By," at No. 5. It also has a bullet and may play leapfrog and hit the top instead, but I think it's more likely to move up to No. 3 or No. 2 next week, and go to No. 1 the following week.

This weeks big mover is Blake Shelton with the catchy "Some Beach." I love the video he's made to go with it and think it will add to the song's popularity. The song moves nine spots, from No. 47 to No. 38 in its third week on the charts. Diamond Rio's new single "Can't You Tell" moves up 8 spots from No. 60 to No. 52.

This week we have new music from Joe Diffie with the touching "If I Could Only Bring You Back," debuting at No. 59. Pat Green also has a new song with ”Don't Break My Heart Again” debuting at No. 60.

On the album charts, Jimmy Buffett continues his chart domination of the No. 1 spot with License to Chill. Gretchen Wilson is at No. 2 with Here For The Party. Big & Rich are at No. 3 once more with Horse of a Different Color. Brad Paisley moves up two to No. 4 with Mud on the Tires. Kenny Chesney remains at No. 5 with When The Sun Goes Down

We have new albums this week from Randy Travis, debuting at No. 10 with The Very Best of Randy Travis. Debuting at No. 18 is Kevin Fowler with Loose, Loud & Crazy, and a collection of Americana music called This is Americana debuts at No. 46.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for August 21, 2004.
